So far this has been a great radio/CD player. We use it daily in our daughter's room and it's worked great so far!
 CD Player Doesn't Last May 17, 2010

I bought this boombox for my daughter for Christmas, after reading some really good reviews. The reviews that I read for some other boomboxes said that the CD player would stop working after a few months, so I thought this one would be a good bet. Not so!! I am so disappointed. After 3 months, the CD player would only play about one song and then just spin with no sound at all. Now it won't play CDs at all. The warranty for the player has already expired. All I can say is, buyer beware!!

I love this. But the other day I tried recording on it and you can hear the noise from the player on the cassette that I was using to record a child singing. That was really bad. But, the CD player and the other radio and CD player works super. How many times do you record? For me not that much. I use a Scan Card full of music and that I really love. Have my favorite music go for some time. Or audio books I have downloaded on my computer transfer to my sewing room and listen to books without being in the same room as my computer. I have a desk top type computer. This lets me even take it outside while gardening. It plays it loud so I can hear over other outdoor noise. So, if you don't do alot of recording this is great with a good price. Love the color.
Too many problems January 12, 2010

I loved the price on this and the fact that it was a small portable MP3 player. I bought one each in orange for my children (2). On one of the first batch, the tape function jammed, and I had to return it. Then ordered a green one, and the SD card cannot go in it. I have been trying to contact the company to return it, with no success. The other orange one I ordered has the same problem mentioned in on of the other reviews, the cord never stays in the back properly. Even when it is just sitting motionless it fades in and out. And it seems it has problems reading CDs. Keeps saying bad CD. Again, trying to contact the manufacturer to no avail.
I originally recommended this product to quite a few as an alternative MP3 player for people without computers. I should have waited for 90 days or so to see the problems come forth.
I'll switch manufacturers for sure to get another. Too many problems without support from this one. Don't buy it.

We purchased this for our 11 year old daughter for her bedroom. She has had lots of enjoyment from it, and has had no trouble using it. The only down it that it does not have preset radio station option, and the wave band is small, so a little difficult to see. But I would not let that put me off. It is a basic, simple radio CD/MP3 player, with good quality sound, and a color coordinated to her room.
