First off the controls are not easy to use by feel. You need constantly be reading the labels on the buttons in order to know what function you want to do. Not good if it's dark. A volume knob would be better. Secondly, you can only navigate the preset radio stations in one direction. So you want to go back a station, you will need to press the preset button all the way till the end and start back again from the beginning. Also, the radio reception is really, really bad. I could never keep a decent static free signal. I thought it would be great for my daughter because it's pink. But no, I will be shopping for something else. On the flip side, it does play mp3s from the cd.

When I received the item, it was not the pink version, but the red version. Someone had switched the product in the box. The company did not have a pink one available, so my granddaughter had to settle for the red one.
